Decade 2000 - Design Environs Corporation

Design Environs has been involved in various aspects of design throughout the 2000's. We have worked with large corporate offices such as ACAC, Cabell Insurance Associates, Cornerstone Partners, SNL and Hantzmon Weibel & Co. Also we have worked with local area medical facilities such as: UVA, Martha Jefferson Hospital, Albemarle Veterinary Hospital and Whitten Laser Eye Center.

Conerstone Partners

Total Turn-Key Design of Entire Company:

Complete design of space from floor to ceiling, millwork, design of individual offices using all new Kimball "Senator" casegoods, construction and demolition, delivery of new products, move of existing furnishings and boxes from previous leased space, assembly and installation completed by Design Environs Corporation in 2008.

Pictured:
Joy's office features a large executive wood desk with a connecting bridge and rear credenza; all wrapped with full modesty panels featuring traditional molding details. A lateral file is located in the rear credenza and the front features a side storage pedestal consisting of two standard drawers and a single file drawer. A center drawer is positioned in the front center which can be used as a keyboard drawer. In addition to the desk two Kimball "Suffolk" side chairs are shown in coordinating fabric and wood.

Design of Entire Department:

Gathered inventory of existing products, designed plans for offices by combining new and existing Kimball Systems, delivery and installion completed by Design Environs Corporation in 2009.

Pictured:
Daryl's office features a large executive wrapped wood top with two metal lateral files in the rear credenza. The front features full modesty panels and a side metal storage pedestal consisting of two standard drawers and a single file drawer. Both paint and carpet was selected to match the second floor where most of Caball Insurance resides.

UVA Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics

Design of Various Offices:

Collaborated with Professors on design of their offices using all new Techline modular systems. Each office featured different layouts and storage options that were necessary for the space to be efficient to the professor. The delivery of new products, assembly and installation all completed by Design Environs Corporation in 2004

Pictured:
This office features a large U-top for conversing with guests, it's wrapped with a bridge and rear credenza. The front features a single support leg allowing both the user and the guest leg access. The rear credenza features lateral file and a storage pedestal consisting of two standard drawers and a single file drawer. The wall cabinets above the rear credenza add additional storage and organization to the user.

Keller Williams Realty

Design of Reception Area and Agent Offices:

Custom designed entire floor of Keller Williams Realty using National products. The reception area was designed as a focal point to greet guests upon entry and provide a waiting area. The offices needed to accommodate multi agents. Products were delivered directly to their location to be installed by Design Environs Corporation in 2004.
Pictured:
Reception desk features a large amber cherry curved top, full modesty panels and under surface storage pedestals. Wallcoverings and National "Gotcha" chairs were selected to coordinate with the entire floor.

Design Electric

Design of Office:
Custom designed office space for tenant. Unique storage requirements by the customer provided the opportunity to combine Techline and National products. The installation and delivery of the products was completed in late Spring 2009.

Pictured:
This office features a large L-shaped workspace for the client. Opposite the desk is additional storage and worksurface. The front features a half round unit with display storage and adjustable shelves. This storage is repeated along the end of the wall cabinet in an American Cherry finish.. The space is the ideal work environment; providing many workspaces and storage options.
